A Way of Thinking. **Between preserving the old and embracing the new, I believe design can make life more meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable.**

Design, Learning, and Making

Practice

My practice moves across disciplines rather than within them. From products and interiors to exhibitions, learning experiences, and artistic installations, I approach every project as part of a connected design ecosystem where creativity, research, and human experience meet.

Beginning with a single patented paper module called GOM, GOM Design Tech has grown into an ecosystem of workshops, research, and educational innovation that explores how design can nurture creativity, learning, and human potential.

Research

Design is where ideas become tangible. My work spans interior architecture, product and furniture design, exhibitions, branding, and design management. Rather than separating these disciplines, I see them as interconnected ways of shaping meaningful experiences across different scales.

Design Management

My practice sits at the intersection of design, making, learning, and material culture. I have never been particularly interested in disciplinary boundaries; the distinctions between art and design, craft and education, thinking and making may appear clear in institutions, yet they dissolve in practice. I see making as a way of thinking, and learning as a creative act. Through paper, participation, and form, I explore how knowledge is embodied through the hands, how materials carry cultural meaning, and how creative practices can resist simplification in an increasingly accelerated world. My work is ultimately concerned with relationships rather than categories.

WHAT I HOLD TO MYSELF

The 4E Framework

Whether it’s a product, a space, or a workshop, every project I try to take on is measured against four commitments:

1. ECONOMY

Design as investment, not expense. Viable, resourceful, and built to last, solutions that make sense for people and for the businesses behind them.

2. ECOLOGY

Recyclable, biodegradable, local. GOM is made of paper — no batteries, no screens, no plastics — and every project starts by asking what the planet can afford.

3. ETHICs

Inclusive and equal by design. Gender-neutral from the start: not pink nor blue, it is colourful.

4. EVIDENCE

Claims are easy; data is not. Ten years of field research, 8,000+ children observed, published papers, and award-winning presentations I measure what design does, not just what it promises.
